Who are we?

SYNTRAD is a translation agency that offers top quality language services to public and private clients. We lead the translation market for the European social dialogue institutions and have been present in the market for over 6 years.

Until December 2012, we worked as an internal translation department within a consulting and advisory cabinet, subsidiary of a European group providing services to workers' representatives. We mainly translated documents with an economic theme, from French to Polish and other Western European languages for the internal needs of our company. Our priority, as you can understand, was to achieve top quality translations. When we started our activity, we resorted to an external translation agency. However, it soon became apparent that the quality was not always of the highest standards and also that deadlines and rates left much to be desired. In Poland, we also experienced difficulties with translations in less common language combinations (such as for instance French - Dutch) for which we found ourselves obliged to find freelance specialized translators. We have gradually expanded our cooperation with freelance translators whose native language met our needs and an increasing workload was entrusted to them. We noted that this type of work enabled us to obtain translations - up to our high standards of quality and with deadlines and rates that were more "favourable" than when cooperating with the external translation agency. These factors finally convinced us to bring back translation services within our organization with an activity experiencing growth. This led us to broaden the base of freelance translators with whom we could work. As a result, in December 2012, when planning further development of our translation business, we decided to create an independent entity. Thus the SYNTRAD SP Z O O translation agency was established.

"Hundreds of pages about economics, finance and management, simultaneously translated into more than a dozen languages in just a few days" would be the shortest way to describe our specialty. The dozens of international translation projects completed to date, characterized by a high level of complexity, enabled us to gain valuable experience.

Translations realized by SYNTRAD are exclusively assigned to translators working into their native language. This service is not subject to additional fees, as is often the case with our competitors, and is a basic feature shaping the quality of our work. In addition to language skills, our translators have acquired extensive knowledge in their specialized fields. Our database comprises hundreds of professional translators. We only work with those who have repeatedly proven the quality of their work in connection with projects they have been tasked to do. So we can confidently offer their services to the clients of the SYNTRAD agency. This is reflected in the high quality and the timely rapid delivery of services we provide.
